As a practice for first starting Sketchup, we made these 4 3D cubes and stacked them. When making them we used the rectangle tool, (R), to make a square base. Then used the pull/push tool, to pull the base up; it then turning into a 3D cube. ✨As a final touch after repeating the process and making the next cube bigger than the following, I drew my name next to it.
BEFORE AFTER
This creation was so fun to me. When making the Simple House I used the rectangle tool, push/pull tool, follow me tool, offset tool, scale tool, and rotation tool. I enjoyed adding the little details like the chimney and door nob. However the hardest part in my opinion was making the windows.
Here is my house spinning for 10 seconds. Providing a whole view of the house. Enjoy! 🌸
BEFORE AFTER
It took me a while to think of what actually to create. Then I just drew a bunch of shapes, pulled them up, and just made my way through. For the base I used the polygon tool; however I typed in "9s" to make the base have 9 sides instead of 6. Tools I used are the polygon tool, line tool, push/pull tool, and the offset tool. Coloring it was my favorite part. I went based off pink lemonade colors.
This is my Model 1, 10 second spinning animation I used Blender. I started off with too many keyframes but narrowed it down to make the animation a success! Enjoy!
MODEL 2
This is my second model I had created. I used the polygon tool for the base, typing in "4s" to make a square instead. Tools I used to make the extra shapes were the line tool, push/pull tool, and the offset tool. I don't have an animation for this model, but you can admire it from picture view. 🌟
