☀️Force and motion🌙
Newtons three laws
Newtons first law
Anything in motion while stay in motion until stopped by another force. anything resting in place will not move until moved by another force.
Newtons second law
The more mass an object has the more force will be need to move it.
F = M x A
Newtons second law states that is you use a force that's greater than the mass the acceleration increases, but is the mass instead increases and the mass stays the same the acceleration while decrease.
Newtons third law
There is an equal and opposite force reaction to every force.
Inertia is the tendency to do nothing or remain unchanged.
☀️Energy and Waves🌙
The electro metric system is a system with all range types of EM radiation. This system is used to study earth, space, and the universe beyond.
Amplitude
Amplitude is the maximum extent of a vibration or oscillation, measured from the position of equilibrium.
Frequency
Frencency Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit of time.
A wavelength is the distance between successive crests of a wave, especially points in a sound wave or electromagnetic wave.
Fun Facts
The longest wavelength is radio waves
The wave with the most energy is Gamma rays
The wave with the least amount of energy is radio waves
How are wavelengths and energy related?
Wavelength is related to energy because every wavelength has meaning it is just energy turned into waves (sometimes visible.)
☀️Universe🌙
A star's life cycle is determined by its mass, starting with a nebula collapsing to form a protostar
Why do stars take different routes?
Stars take different life routes based on how much mass they have.
☀️HR Diagram🌙
The HR Diagram is used to It classifies stars into distinct groups (Main Sequence, Giants, Supergiants, White Dwarfs) and shows how stars change from birth (Main Sequence) through aging to their eventual fate, revealing insights into nuclear fusion and stellar evolution
There are four groups of stars on the HR diagram
Giants
The main sequence
Dwarf stars
supergiants
Fun facts!
Fun fact our sun is in the Main sequence group!
Fun Fact the four corners of our HR diagram are all different!
☀️Galaxys🌙
A Galaxy is a group of stars. There are three types of Galaxys Elliptical, spiral, irregular.
Elliptical Galaxies have only old stars. Spiral Galaxies have a combination of old and new stars And irregular Galaxies have only new stars.
