MUSD Exploratory Educational Resources

We understand that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a serious concern for you and your family. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we join the efforts to prevent the spread of this illness.

With the guidance of San Bernardino County Public Health and the direction of the San Bernardino County Superintendents Office, beginning March 16, 2020, Superintendent Tom Baumgarten, under the authority of the Morongo Unified School District Board of Education, has closed MUSD schools. The closure will continue through the end of the 2019-2020 school year. An update will be provided. This necessary action is an effective way to disrupt the spread of COVID-19.

Currently, all school building activities including school day instruction, health services, enrichment programs, sports etc. are canceled until further notice.

In an effort to allow our students to practice skills, the district will be sharing educational resources for you and your children. On this website, you will find resources that students can use to explore skills previously learned in English Language Arts and mathematics. You will also find additional resources from our online textbook materials as well as other supplemental resources and parent resources. Use the navigation bar at the top of the page to access the other pages on this site.

Please make sure to monitor communication from Morongo USD regarding COVID-19 updates as it relates to school functions by visiting the MUSD webpage. We appreciate your patience and support as we work together to provide safe environments for our students and community.

Google Classroom courses are being created and developed by our educators and leaders and will be made available to students by Monday, March 30th. There are two ways to join Google Classroom, via invite or class code.

Please use the provided link as directions for accessing Google Classroom at home. Please remember to use the same student username and password that is used to sign into district computers when logging in. Once you are logged into Google Classroom you may see invitations to join classes. If you see an invitation, select “Join”. For any classes that you do not see an invitation, you will need to contact the class teacher or the school site to receive the class code for that particular class.

For security purposes, we will not be sharing class codes to Google Classrooms publicly. We appreciate your patience as we work to make sure your child is enrolled within their respective courses.

Google Classroom Login Instructions and a link to our Google Classroom Training Portal can be found below.
