What do I do if my Chromebook doesn't work correctly?
Perform the POWERWASH PROCEDURE:
1. Hold the CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, and R keys for 3 seconds.
2. Continue through screen prompts.
4. Select the DistDevices WiFi network if you're at school, or select your home network if you're at home.
5. Log in to the device to complete enrollment. You will have to type your full email address.
6. If your Chromebook still doesn't work, take it to Mr. Fulkerson's room (134).
What do I do if my device won't turn on? Try the powerwash procedure. If that doesn't work, take your device and charger to Mr. Fulkerson's room (134).
What do I do if my Chromebook is locked? Take your Chromebook to Mr. Fulkerson (rm. 134). Your device will be repaired promptly.
What do I do if my device won't charge? Try a different outlet and try a different charger. If you still have issues, take your Chromebook and charger to Mr. Fulkerson's room (134).
What do if I lost my charger? Take $25 (cash or check made out to BGHS) to Mr. Fulkerson's room (134).
How do I clean my Chromebook? Isopropyl alcohol is the safest cleaner for electronics. Otherwise, mix a couple of drops of dish soap and a couple of cups of warm water, dip your lint-free cloth in the soapy mixture, wring it out, and wipe down the surfaces. Rinse out the cloth with clean water and wipe it down again. Lastly, to avoid water streaks, wipe it down a third time with a dry cloth.
What do I do if I physically broke my Chromebook? Take your Chromebook to Mr. Fulkerson's room (134).
