Hey my name is Jocelynn! I am 14 and i'm about to be 15 years old in September. I have just entered high school so I am a freshman. At bowie I am on the JV cheer team and hope to make varsity next year. I was born in Waco, Texas and I moved to Austin about 3 and a half years ago. While I was in Waco I did gymnastics for 10 years. I have also done volleyball for about a year. I have naturally blonde hair, hazel color eyes, and I'm 4'11. My favorite things to do are cheer, go on walks, and hangout with my friends. Some of my favorite foods are sushi, hamburgers, and french fries. My favorite colors are mainly pastels and lilac. I want to go to NYC or HMU for collage. In the future I want to go to Greece, England, and/or Japan. 

I signed up for journalism 1 because I want to learn more about creating different templates. I want to learn how to design better and put things in better places then people would usually put them. I also want to learn how to ask better interview questions and how to follow up with them so we don't get such a bland answer.

My previous experience with journalism has been very good. I was on the Gorzycki yearbook staff and we executed a great book. The year before I was in intro to journalism and I learned most of my skills there. I learned how to interview, ask different questions, and take pictures. Being on the yearbook staff definitely taught me how to work with all different kinds of people and see their thoughts.
