Our 4th class students recently completed fantastic projects all about China, where they explored a wide range of topics and presented their learning in creative ways. They researched China’s geographical features, including famous landmarks such as mountains, rivers and the Great Wall, and learned about important historical events and traditions. A big focus was also on Chinese New Year, where pupils discovered how it is celebrated, the meaning behind the zodiac animals and the colourful festivals that take place. Each student also included interesting facts that personally fascinated them, making every project unique. The children had the option to present their work using Canva, Google Slides or a traditional poster, and most chose Canva, producing vibrant and engaging digital presentations. Throughout this project, students developed their research, design and presentation skills while gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and history.
