Hello! My name is Ms. Erb. This is my 10th year teaching 2nd Grade. I am so excited for this year and to get to know your children. I enjoy creating interactive lessons for the students and believe students learn best by hands on learning.. My first and foremost truth that I desire the students to learn is that they are unconditionally loved by God as His son or daughter. 

Every child is gifted in their own way and loved for who they are, because they are created in the image of God. I believe that children learn through many different learning styles. I enjoy teaching through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning modalities.

Helping students develop a love for learning in all subject areas, strengthens our awe and love of God's creation. In our classroom we use the "Whole Brain Teaching Method" with continual repetition, engaging children in learning. I believe that children learn in many different ways. By providing multiple ways of learning, this will help to meet each individual student's needs to grow and be who God fully created them to be.

When I am not teaching, you can most definitely find me out among horses. I help volunteer and teach Mentoring Sessions for At-Risk kids at Hope Lives Youth Ranch in Monticello. I love being outside and spending time with the animals and going for rides with my horse buddy Winston.
