The children learn about the Prophecy of Isaiah. "For the people who have walked in darkness have seen a Great Light." ~ Isaiah 9:1

The children hear the parable of the Good Shepherd which invites them into a deeper relationship with Jesus as the Good Shepherd. ~ John 10:14-18

The children bury their decorated Alleluia's before the beginning of Lent. Alleluia is not used during the entire Liturgical Season of Lent.
