Mrs. Michelle Janes

I am so excited to start another year with the  St. Teresa family!  Everyone has been so kind. This is my 34nd year teaching 8th graders in the Belleville Diocese.  I started my teaching career at Blessed Sacrament and taught 8th grade language arts and religion there for twenty years.  I then moved to St. Clare to help them start their one-to-one iPad program and lead their technology department.  My last four years  at St. Clare led me back to the 8th grade classroom - my favorite place to be!  I am really looking forward to teaching language arts to St. Teresa's fantastic 7th and 8th graders this year and am so excited to teach 8th grade religion again. 

I am a widow and have a wonderful daughter, Melissa.  She has worked at the Humane Society for ten years and has given me bulldogs  and kittens in place of grandchildren.  My favorite place to be is with my extended family on the beach at Pawleys Island, SC.  I love reading, watching foreign films, and refinishing furniture.
