What are we doing the week October 14?:
Math: Introduce chapter 3, lesson 1 - understand multiplicative comparisons, lesson 2 - multiply by tens, hundreds, and thousands, lesson 3 - estimate products by rounding
English: chapter 1 lesson 1 - 5 review, CHAPTER 1 LESSON 1 - 5 TEST ON WEDNESDAY, chapter 1 lesson 6 - compound subjects, lesson 7 - compound predicates
Reading: Earthquakes story - reread, venn diagrams to compare and contrast, text questions, review, QUIZ OVER EARTHQUAKES ON FRIDAY
Religion: 10 Commandments lapbook, pages 53 - 57, plan Mass for October 22
Social Studies: ch 1 pages 2 - 15
Science: pages 30 - 31

Reminders:
Water bottles must be see through. Water fountains are open for use.
Wednesdays we go to Mass. Students should wear white uniform shirts.
Only uniform approved sweaters and fleeces can we worn in the classroom during the school day. Please make sure students bring them to school in case the classroom is cold. We have a brand new air conditioner and it works well - our room may be colder than students are used to being.
