What are we doing the week of September 21?: 

Math: lesson 3 - add numbers within 1,000, lesson 4 - add numbers beyond 1,000, lesson 5 - subtract numbers within 1,000, and lesson 6 - subtract numbers beyond 1,000

English:  chapter 7 -lesson 10 quotation marks, review work for chapter 7, CHAPTER 7 TEST ON FRIDAY

Reading: Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing - character traits and chapter 6

Religion:  pages 30 - 36 

Social Studies: map grids and latitude and longitude

Science: (rotates with science)

Spelling: practicing list 1.5  List 1.5 test on Wednesday, September 23, introduce and practice list 1.6

• Tuesday, October 20: End of First Quarter

• Wednesday, October 28: 4th Grade in charge of Mas

• Thursday, October 29: Report Cards, Halloween Parties, and Parent Teacher Conferences

• Friday, October 30: No School, Parent Teacher Conference

Reminders:

• Water bottles should contain only water. No flavored water, juice, etc. 

• Wednesdays we go to Mass. Students should wear white uniform shirts. 

• Only uniform approved sweaters and fleeces can we worn in the classroom during the school day.  Please make sure students bring them to school in case the classroom is cold. We have a brand new air conditioner and it works well - our room may be colder than students are used to being.
