What are we doing the week September 8?:
Math: Introduce chapter 2, lesson 1 Estimate Sums and Differences, lesson 3 Add Numbers within 1000, lesson 4 Add Numbers Beyond 1000, lesson 5 Subtract Numbers within 1000
English: Lesson 7.10 Quotations, chapter 7 review
Reading: Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing chapter 6, sequence of events, chapter 7, main idea and supporting details
Religion: chapter 2 pages 39 - 49
Social Studies: parts of a globe, hemispheres, map scale, chapter 1 vocabulary
Science: pages 14 & 15
Spelling: practice list 1.4, list 1.4 test WEDNESDAY., introduce and practice list 1.5

Reminders:
Water bottles must be see through. Water fountains are open for use.
Wednesdays we go to Mass. Students should wear white uniform shirts.
Only uniform approved sweaters and fleeces can we worn in the classroom during the school day. Please make sure students bring them to school in case the classroom is cold. We have a brand new air conditioner and it works well - our room may be colder than students are used to being.
