• ESIS TC21 chairs Milos B. Djukic and Tom Depover, together with May Martin and Hisao Matsunaga, organizing the ongoing special issue (SI) of Engineering Failure Analysis (EFA) journal entitled “Understanding Environmentally Hydrogen Assisted Cracking of Metals: Key Towards a Sustainable Future”.The manuscript submission deadline is extended until 15 February 2024. This SI will include a selection of papers presented at the TC21 Thematic/Special Symposium with a round table and panel discussions: ”Hydrogen embrittlement of metals: Problems and solutions” within the framework of the 5th International Conference on Structural Integrity, 29 August - 1 September 2023, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.

• ESIS TC21 chairs Milos B. Djukic, Tom Depover, and Motomichi Koyama, together with Frank Cheng, Lívia Cupertino Malheiros, Masoud Moshtaghi, and Birhan Sefer will organize the upcoming TC21 Thematic/Special Symposium with a round table and panel discussions: ”Hydrogen embrittlement in metallic materials: pipeline transport, hydrogen storage, and other applications” within the framework of the  24th European Conference on Fracture - ECF24 (http://ecf24.eu/), August 26 - 30, 2024, Zagreb, Croatia. • ESIS TC21 chair Emilio Martínez Pañeda is organizing the upcoming Oxford-EPRI Workshop in Hydrogen Embrittlement, June 23-26, 2024, Oxford, UK. The workshop will host 40 invited speakers, who will give extended talks in a single room (i.e., no parallel sessions), and discussion will be stimulated. ESIS TC21 chair Milos B Djukic is one of the invited speakers. While oral talks are by invitation only, there will be a poster session open to anyone interested in contributing. More details will be available very soon through a dedicated website.

• ESIS TC21 chair Milos B. Djukic, together with Ankit Sharma organizing the ongoing special issue of the Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology (Impact factor: 2.3, CiteScore: 4.4) on “Automation In Sustainable Welding Manufacturing” The manuscript submission deadline is 31 December 2024. One of the topics of this SI is Corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement in welds.

• ESIS TC21 chair Milos B. Djukic, together with Arun Devaraj and Wendy Gu, organizing the ongoing special issue (SI) Collection of npj Materials Degradation journal entitled “Hydrogen Embrittlement”. The manuscript submission deadline is extended until 07 November 2024.
