Dear colleagues, dear friends,
It is our pleasure to invite you to participate at the 1st Biennial ESIS-CSIC Conference on Structural Integrity (BECCSI 2025), in period November 25-28, 2025 (www.beccsi2025.com), in mutual organization of the European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS) and China Structural Integrity Consortium (CSIC). The inaugural event will be hosted in Belgrade, Serbia organized by the Serbian Structural Integrity Society (DIVK). Together, we aim to elevate the standards of structural integrity practices and welcome professionals worldwide to engage in this transformative journey.

The 1st BECCSI will serve as a unique platform for the structural integrity community to explore novel solutions and manufacturing techniques, evaluate advancements in codes and standards, and address key technical challenges in the field of engineering. Furthermore, the event will seek to place these discussions in the broader context of environmental impact and the future landscape of manufacturing, all of it with the ultimate goal to prevent failure and ensure complete structural integrity. The three-day conference will create a conducive environment for participants to network with international structural integrity leaders. It will facilitate subsequent discussions and the exchange of diverse views and information among attendees. Special focus of the conference will be on young researchers, including a competition for the Best Student Paper Awards.

DIVK12: Extended deadline for abstract submission - November 1, 2024!
Due to a huge interest in our conference, with more than 100 submitted abstracts, the organizing committee of 12th Annual conference of Society of Structural Integrity and Life (DIVK12) are "forced" to extend Deadline for abstract submission until November 1st, 2024 !
Please, take into account that this will be final date for abstract submission.
Submitted abstract(s) (in abstract template.doc) should contain the title of the presentation, full names and affiliations of the authors, objectives of the study, employed methods, and the most significant results. Book of abstracts will be available in booklet form on the first day of the Conference.

Full paper should be sent to iras@fe.up.pt.
As a reminder, papers presented at this Symposium will be peer-reviewed and published in a Special Issue of the Open Access Procedia Structural Integrity journal. Please, stick to the symposia topics listed here https://web.fe.up.pt/~iras/topics/.
Paper should contain 3-8 pages, and need to be sent by May 20, 2023!
Upon receiving papers for Procedia Structural Integrity, an invitation for Special Issue of Engineering Failure Analysis (EFA) journal will be sent to selected authors. Please, keep in mind that even though papers for EFA Special Issue are extended version of papers for Procedia Structural Integrity, the similaraty should be kept as low as possible. Also keep in mind that the extended version of paper should be made according to EFA guidelines for authors and journal topics: https://www.elsevier.com/journals/engineering-failure-analysis/1350-6307/guide-for-authors.
Alternatively, you can send your expanded paper to the Special Issue of the Scopus referenced DIVK journal.

Final deadline for abstract (IRAS 2023) - March 25th, 2023!
Dear friends and colleagues,
Due to many requests, the Programme Committee has decided to extend the final deadline for abstracts until March 25th, 2023 for IRAS 2023 (April 2-4, 2023, Belgrade, Serbia)!
This Second International Symposium on Risk Analysis and Safety of Complex Structures and Components (IRAS 2023) is organised by ESIS TC12 on Risk Analysis and Safety of Large Structures and Components (in-team TC12), which will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, located at the confluence of two large rivers, Sava and Danube, from April 2nd until 4 April 2023.
This Symposium topics cover recent advances in maintenance, safety, risk analysis, probabilistic assessment, life-cycle performance, fatigue, fracture, damage mechanics, numerical simulation of a wide range of infrastructures, such as, engineering technical systems, transportation systems, bridges, buildings, dams, railways, underground constructions, wind and transmission towers, offshore platforms, pipelines, naval vessels, oceanic structures, nuclear power plants, airplanes and other types of structures including aerospace and automotive structures etc. More info about conference topics are listed here.
