to Replace Traditional Teaching Methods
by Jack Pepchinski and Aiden Salinas
Jack's side:
I think technology should be used to replace traditional teaching methods for a few reasons. First, it’s just easier for everyone. Teachers can post slides or present slides to teach things. This is just so much easier than teachers writing on chalkboards and having to recite textbooks. Another advantage is that people who are sick can catch up on work a lot easier, or just not miss anything at all. Lastly, technology can allow teachers to teach about our present day events easier. Every week we have different lunches, the week of January 13th was: Monday- Chicken cutlet mozzarella Philly cheesesteak. A lot of people in the 8th grade class said that the cutlet was very delicious and they said they would like to have it more throughout school for lunch. Tuesday- Chicken, rice, & beans. One person in the 8th grade class said that it is a very good lunch to buy and very appetizing, and that they would recommend it. They also commented how they liked it but not really the beans. Wednesday- Bagels, the bagels were really good, another student in 8th grade said that the bagel is very tasty and they have it every week when it's available to have. It's one of the best foods that you can buy for lunch . Thursday- Baked ziti and meatballs, the baked ziti was flavorful. A student said they liked how it was baked, not too baked but perfect. They also really like meatballs. Friday- Pizza & fruit cup, almost all the 8th grade class has pizza every week. This is the top food of every week. Some people look forward to having it. They say that it is a very enjoyable tasty dish to have at lunch.
