Year 8 Charity Bake Sale

🎉 Huge well done to our amazing Year 8s at Strood Academy! They planned and ran a brilliant charity event yesterday—cakes, games, raffles, and more! 🍰⚽🎟️

Year 7 were fantastic customers and the whole event was a buzzing success, raising over £100 for our college charities! 🙌

Our Year 8s were incredibly creative, engaged, and full of energy—they learned loads, showed real leadership, and had so much fun along the way! 💡🎉

Year 12 Business and Finance Unit

Our Year 12 Business students have been learning about Savings Products 💰 as part of their Unit 3 Personal and Business Finance Unit 📊. They were tasked with recommending a competitive deal for investing a set amount of money 💷.

Having familiarised themselves with AER Percentages 📈, ISAs 🏦, 1–5 year Fixed and Variable Rates 📉, and 90 Day Notice Accounts ⏳, they were ready. Students were able to weigh up all the different options in light of a customer's circumstances 👥.

Who knew saving money could be so complicated?! 🤯💸
