I think the author is trying to show how people can go through so much fear with dentistry but can still become the dentist’s worst nightmare—like when Alfie has the wrong tooth pulled out and only realises after it’s crushed into thousands of pieces.

What I Liked:

I liked the suspense of Alfie’s fear and how he and Gabz shared the same suspicions about the new dentist.

What I Didn’t Like:

There’s nothing I disliked, as I’ve gone through a lot of dentist trauma myself and found it quite relatable to be suspicious.

Recommendation:

Yes, because if someone’s looking for a laugh, it would cheer them up.

Yes, I would read another book by David Walliams because he is a very good author and creates a lot of bestselling books that everyone enjoys.
