Also, please ensure you are advising the attendance team of any appointments your child may have so we can ensure students are in reception at the correct time, ready to be collected. Reminder about arrival to the academy: Strood Academy is open from 8am each morning where students are able to come and prepare for the day ahead in our Restaurant. Please ensure students are not entering the building before 8am each morning.

This week, Year 11 assembly will be on how to revise with Mr Fatania sharing revision techniques. Please work with your children to aid them in using these revision techniques and organising their time to be as efficient with this revision as possible.

Sixth Form mock exams will be taking place in November, the timetable will soon be shared with students.
Attached is the KS5 dress code for your information, as well as Expectations which have been shared with year 12 and 13 students
A reminder that all KS5 are expected to be in school all day - they are not allowed to leave at 2:20pm, even if they have a ‘free;’ this privilege is being reinstated at the end of term 2 and is based upon their attendance and progress. Students are allowed to sign out at lunchtime if they wish to go to the local shop.
