Reminder about arrival to the academy: Strood Academy is open from 8am each morning where students are able to come and prepare for the day ahead in our Restaurant. Please ensure students are not entering the building before 8am each morning.

Year 11 interventions started Monday, 11th September. Attendance to these intervention sessions will continue to be strictly monitored.

Attached is the KS5 dress code for your information, as well as Expectations which were re-shared with year 12 and 13 students last week
This week, assessments for both Years 12 and 13 have commenced - we recognise students for their resilience throughout this period
Year 13 have also started handing in their first draft of their personal statements this week - a massive achievement - well done!
A reminder that all KS5 are expected to be in school all day - they are not allowed to leave at 2:20pm, even if they have a ‘free;’ this privilege is being reinstated at the end of term 2 and is based upon their attendance and progress. Students are allowed to sign out at lunchtime if they wish to go to the local shop.
