Wednesday, 13th March, marked a riveting affair in our school's esports tournament, filled with unforeseen twists and turns! In the Rocket League showdown, our determined trio George, Aiden, and Finlay gave it their all in a best-of-three match... yet, regrettably, victory eluded our grasp in all rounds. It appears our opponents had a formidable edge!

Moving on to the Fortnite arena, tensions soared as Frankie and Alex engaged in a thrilling match, resulting in a 10-9 victory that left us on the edge of our seats! However, the mood quickly shifted when Aiden and Finlay stepped into the battle royale ring, only to suffer an 8-3 defeat that left us scratching our heads.

Despite the rollercoaster of emotions and the somewhat underwhelming outcomes, one undeniable truth remains: our gamers delivered an impressive performance, captivating us until the very end!

Here's to more electrifying showdowns and, perhaps, a touch less suspense in the forthcoming tournaments!

Friday attendance rewards: students are having the chance to be rewarded if they attend a full week at school from Friday to Thursday each week. Rewards are being given out the following Friday and students must be in attendance on that day to receive their reward. Two students per year group, per college are being awarded a certificate and a prize if their attendance is 100% during this period. 

We have celebrated a number of these rewards so far and we look forward to awarding more badges, prizes and certificates to students throughout the rest of the academic year.
