Another huge well done to all students who competed in even more trust-wide PE events and competitions over the past week. See below for further details on these:

• On Monday, the Year 9 and 10 girls took part in the LAT 5 a side football competition this morning. All the girls played their part in some closely fought games, two victories and a draw saw the girls finish 3rd in a tight group! Well done Esme, Amelia, Sophie, Sophie, Lily, Katie and Amelia for representing Strood PE! 

• On Tuesday, a selection of year 9 and 10 boys represented the school in the LAT 5-a-side competition. Some excellent teamwork was displayed and the boys showed real resilience after a tough couple of opening games. The highlight was a 4-1 win over Wilmington with Kinza scoring twice as well as Albie and Danny. The boys also picked up a hard fought win over Leigh Academy Bexley and draws with Leigh UTC and Sir Joseph Williamson Maths school. Scorers throughout the tournament were Albie with 4 goals, Danny with 2 goals, Kinza with 2 goals and Jack with 1 goal. Well done to all involved!
