Also, please ensure you are advising the attendance team of any appointments your child may have so we can ensure students are in reception at the correct time, ready to be collected. Reminder about arrival to the academy: Strood Academy is open from 8am each morning where students are able to come and prepare for the day ahead in our Restaurant. Please ensure students are not entering the building before 8am each morning.

Year 11 mock exams will be taking place in between 13th and 28th November. Please see the timetable here:

Parent drop in sessions
Parent drop in sessions
As we continue to reflect and develop our communication with parents we have developed new strategies to enable us to support this and ensure that you are getting the opportunity to speak with staff. Therefore, I can happily introduce our new "Parent Drop In' sessions.
We have created the opportunity for parents to book face to face appointments within the academy where you can raise any concerns or issues that you may have.
As an academy, we appreciate feedback and we will continue to review this strategy with the aim to improve our communication with parents and carers.
Please see attached below a link, or scan the QR code, to book one of our Parent Drop In, 15 minute appointments, which will be held between 9:20 and 10:20 am.
