Year 10 Music

🎶🍪 Last week, our Year 10 GCSE Music students got creative with biscuits to explore musical forms and structures! From binary to rondo, each sweet treat represented a different section of the music they listened to. Learning has never been so delicious! 🎼✨

Year 8 Football

⚽️💪 A battling performance from our Year 8 boys at Thomas Aveling on Thursday! After going 1-0 down early, Jack’s great finish brought us level. Despite some unlucky deflections leaving us 4-1 down at half-time, the team showed incredible resilience. A stunning free kick from Zak and another brilliant goal from Jack made it 4-3 with five minutes to go, but we just couldn’t find the equaliser. A fantastic effort from everyone involved! 👏🔥

Aspiration Digital Skills Conference

🚀💻 Our Post 16 Business, Computing, and Media students attended the Aspiration Digital Skills Conference at Showcase Cinemas, Bluewater! With over 1,000 students from across the UK, they explored careers in digital marketing, AI, creative design, and more while engaging with industry professionals. A fantastic opportunity to learn, network, and get inspired for the future! 👏✨

Year 7 Football

Strood put on a goalscoring masterclass on Monday evening with our Year 7 boys team winning 11-1 against SJF.

A superb performance sees the boys remain unbeaten this season and in touching distance of being crowned division champions!

The Year 7 boys were back in action on Thursday with an away fixture against Holcombe Grammar.

And we are delighted to announce we remain UNBEATEN!! A solid 3-0 victory means that the boys in their first year of secondary school keep a superb 100% record in this District!

We have secured a final fixture against Greenacre next week where a draw will confirm the title!! We cannot wait!
