Performing Arts Gain Industry Insight

Our Year 13 Performing Arts students recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the esteemed owner and director of Icon Theatres. This enlightening experience provided our students with invaluable insights into the intricacies of the performing arts industry.

During the session, students delved into a wide range of topics, including the challenges and rewards of running a successful theatre company. They learned about the importance of grant writing and funding applications, as well as the strategies involved in establishing a local arts organization.

Our students were captivated by the speaker's passion and expertise. They eagerly asked questions and actively engaged in the discussion. This unique opportunity not only enhanced their theoretical knowledge but also inspired them to pursue their artistic aspirations with renewed vigor!
