On World Mental Health Day, let’s all come together to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters.
Talking about our mental health can help us cope better with life’s ups and downs. So, on World Mental Health Day and beyond it, why not check in with your friends, family, peers, or colleagues?
Celebrate with a Tea & Talk! Last year, over 260,000 people had a Tea & Talk for World Mental Health Day - raising vital funds for mental health whilst getting together and talking about mental health. Open Evening 2024
On Thursday 3rd October, we opened our academy doors to welcome prospective students, and their parents and carers into our academy. During the evening, we also hosted more formal speeches outlining the strategic direction of the academy, highlighting our commitment to excellence and the progressive initiatives we have planned for the future. As well as this, our visitors had the opportunity to engage in the activities organised across all department areas, providing them with a taste of the diverse opportunities available at our academy.
We would like to remind you of our upcoming Sixth Form Open Evening Event, which will take place on Thursday 7th November between 4pm and 7pm.
Our Sixth Form is IB accredited with 100% of our students leaving Sixth Form to either attend university, apprenticeships, or employment, nearly 70% of which go on to further study at university. We are very proud of our sixth form and will be delighted to share our pathways and subjects on offer; enrichment opportunities; and the support your child will receive to be successful in gaining the right qualifications to move on to the next stage of their educational career.
We look forward to seeing many of you there!
