District 16 is proud of the diversity of our students, families, educators, and community. We believe it is essential to create a culture of respect, equity and inclusivity that fosters academic excellence for every student.
Our curriculum emphasizes blended, project-based learning with hands-on activities as well as writing and STEM curriculum designed to help each student gain critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creative problem-solving skills. We are committed to closing the digital divide so that all students have access to the resources, tools and devices they need at school and at home.
