Nutmeg Children's Book Awards
The Nutmeg Award is a unique award given by Connecticut students. Each year, after reading a large variety of books, a group of librarians decides on a set of ten Nutmeg nominees for the year. These books are then read by Connecticut students who vote for their favorite every April. All Lordship students in grades 4 through 6 who have read at least two of this year's Nutmeg nominees will be invited to vote.
