All students need a lesson book for their instrument. Please click the button for the correct ensemble to find links to the book for your instrument. Even if using the links, double check that it is the correct instrument before purchasing.
It is highly recommended that each student have a music stand for home practice. Practicing without a music stand can cause bad posture habits, and make proper sound production difficult. The music store you purchase your instrument from should also have music stands appropriate for home practice.Â
You can also purchase one online here.Â

For Saxophones/Clarinets
Trombones need the cream below, and a small water spray bottle to activate it.
Saxophones should come with a neck strap. Click below to order one if yours gets lost or stolen, or if you'd like a more comfortable strap
Here is a link to an appropriate Bell Kit. You can also rent one from a music store.
*Make sure you select the correct size for your instrument. If you're not sure, check with your child's music teacher. For violins, it should match your violin size. For viola's, the 1/2-3/4 shoulder rest should fit most 12" and 13" violas. A 14" viola might need the 4/4 shoulder rest.
The Sponge Shoulder Rest isn't as effective, but is much less expensive. If the first shoulder rest is not affordable, then please purchase a sponge shoulder rest.
