Hi there! I am so glad to be your child’s teacher this year! 

My name is Emily Penland. This will be my 8th year teaching at Strafford! I graduated from Missouri State University in 2017 with my Bachelor's Degree in Education and I also have my Master's Degree in School Leadership from Evangel University. I was raised here in Strafford and am a very proud Strafford Alumni! 

I have been married to my husband, Michael, for eleven years this fall. We have 2 boys, Xavier, who will be 9 in February, and Evander, who will be 5 this coming April. We also have 1 dog! A Siberian Husky, named Skyler. I love to spend time with my family! We enjoy going to the lake, being active, and watching all kinds of sports.
