Hi there! I am so glad to be your child’s teacher this year! 

My name is Emily Penland. This will be my 9th year teaching at Strafford! I graduated from Missouri State University in 2017 with my Bachelor's Degree in Education and I also have my Master's Degree in School Leadership from Evangel University. I was raised here in Strafford and am a very proud Strafford Alumni! 

I have been married to my husband, Michael, for twelve years this fall. We have 3 boys, Xavier, who will be 10 in February, Evander, who will be 6 this coming April and Wilder, who will celebrate his first birthday in March! We also have 1 dog! A Siberian Husky, named Skyler. I love to spend time with my family! We enjoy going to the lake, being active, and watching all kinds of sports.
