6-8 News

6 Grade News: In Regular Math, they are learning about decimals. Honors is learning about prime and composite numbers. In Social Studies they are learning about China. In ELA they are learning about nouns and reading Brians Winter. In Honors ELA they are learning about irregular verbs. In math they are multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers. 

7th grade News: In Math, they are learning about Least Common Multiple and Greatest Common Factor. In Social Studies, they are learning about the 13 colonies. In ELA, they are learning about The Christmas Carol and verbs. In accelerated Math, they are currently learing about ratios and rates. In regular math, they are learning about drawing scales.

8th grade News: Math, Regular math is learning about samples and surveys. Accelerated math is learning about factoring polynomials. In Social Studies, they just finished learning about the, "Becoming World Power," unit. In ELA, regular ELA are reading The Giver. Honors ELA is reading Treasure Island. They are both learning about irregular verbs.
