1. The Schedule for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day: It is on the back of the bulletin.

2.         Parish’s Office Hours: Parish’s office will be closed on December 25 & 26 . Office will reopen on Monday Dec. 29th. Thank you.

3. New Year Raffle Tickets:  The tickets will be sold after masses in the back of the church.

4.         Kitchen Closed: The kitchen will be closed on Sunday December 28 for holiday and reopen on the weekend of January 4th, 2026.

5. 2026 Calendar: The 2026 parish calendars are available for you in the back of the church. Please pick up one calendar per family. Thank you.

6. Winter Break Religious Education: Due to Christmas and New Year. Classes resume on Sunday Jan. 4th, 2026.

7. Vietnamese New Year:  We are going to celebrate the Vietnamese New Year on Sunday, Febuary 15, 2026.  The celebration will start with a community mass at 10:30 am (NO 9:00AM Mass), following by a traditional ceremony, lunch, entertainment, and raffle drawings in St. Peters Hall.  Please save the date and come to celebrate with us on this very special day. 

8. New Year Donations/Sponsors: We are currently looking for sponsors for our New Year Celebration.   If you are interested, please call the office at 515-266-1160 for more information.  Donations are also being accepted to help pay for the New Year celebration. Thank you.

9. Winter Weather: In the event of bad weather church service cancellations will be announced on our website at stpeterdesmoines.org or KCCI Channel 8 News.
