Catholic Prayers for the Departed

Prayer for Eternal Rest In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our brothers and sisters. In this life you embraced them with your tender love; deliver them now from every evil and bid them eternal rest. The old order has passed away: welcome them into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen

1.      Solemnity of All Saints (Not a Holyday of Obligation): We have two masses on Saturday, November 1st (9:30am English  & 10:30 am Vietnamese). Please come and join us to honor all Saints. Thank you.

2.      A Prayer Book For Our Dead Loved Ones: There is a book on the back of the church to write down the names of our loved ones who have passed away. During the Mass for all Souls.

3.  Candlelight Service for All Souls: Sunday, November 2nd before the 9:00 AM Mass, the parish will hold a special candlelight service in remembrance of all souls. Candles are available at the back of the church. Please take one candle per family, write the names of your departed loved ones on it. We invite everyone to come early and join us in prayer and remembrance of our beloved deceased.

4.      Kitchen: The kitchen open today. Please join us for coffee, donuts and eggrolls in the hall after mass.
