Pastor’s Breakfast & Chapel
Our annual invite your Pastor to breakfast event will take place on Sept. 25. Invitations that students can personalize will be sent home. Students are welcome to invite their Pastor, Assoc. Pastor, Youth Director, or other church leader. We will be having an outdoor chapel with muffins/donuts, fruit, and drinks with the local Pastors that have been invited to join us. This is an all-school event so students should be wearing their school-logo chapel polo.
Chapel Offering
Students are encouraged to do chores at home to earn money for chapel offering each week. Our school has 3 main offering recipients per year that correspond with the 3 school trimesters. This is what we are doing this year.
Trimester 1 is the Chelan-Douglas Casa Stocking Project. We will be collecting cash (to purchase items) and item donations for our students to create baskets for local foster children. In December, our students will help fill the baskets and deliver them to Casa.
Trimester 2 offering goes to our School-Sponsored Compassion International Student Emmanuel who lives in Tanzania. St. Paul's has been sponsoring Emmanuel for 10 years and during the school year each class takes turns writing him letters or sending him pictures. He also writes back to us several times each year.
Trimester 3 offering has not yet been decided for this school year. It will most likely be a missionary family that we can connect with.
School Picture Day
Individual student photos by Parsons Photography will be taken at school for all students in 3yr-old preschool - 9th grade on October 9th. These photos are used for school records, student ID cards (5th-9th only) and the yearbooks. Flyers from Parsons with picture package options will be coming home in student backpacks. If you are interested in ordering from Parsons, you can send the envelope to school with your student on picture day or you can order online.
