The Debate and Speech Training Club aims at arousing students’ interest in the art of debating. With a view to assisting students to learn how to think critically and independently, and present ideas in a systematic manner, the Club holds several activities every year. Through taking part in these activities, students can increase their confidence, improve their skills in oral English and at the same time be more aware of current social issues.
