NEW! Fundraising
New this year, every teen will be able to participate in a fundraiser that will cover the $225 remaining balance ($75 deposit still needs paid by 10/12/2025).
Details:
Each teen will receive 9 raffle tickets to sell, at $25 per ticket.
Whatever tickets they sell (money needs to be received by end of March) will be deducted off of their $225 remaining balance. The raffle will go live in January and run through the end of March.
The raffle:
Details will be finalized in January.
There will be at least 3 winners, and prizes will be something similar to the following (although not confirmed yet):
1st prize winner: $400 gift card to Acme or Amazon
2nd prize winner: $100 gift certificate or card
3rd prize winner: $50 gift certificate or card
*The actually prizes (once set) will be printed on the raffle tickets.
FAQ:
Q: Can a teen fundraise to also cover the $75 non-refundable deposit?
A: No. The $75 cannot be offset by this fundraiser.
Q: Can a teen sell more than 9 tickets?
A: No. While siblings within the same family can sell more to account for each of the 9 tickets being sold, more tickets will not be printed. This makes the raffle more appealing (better odds of winning) and limits our financial obligation in printing costs.
Q: Does my teen need to sell all 9 tickets, or any tickets at all?
A: No. This is just an opportunity to offset the remaining $225 balance for those that wish to partake in it. Any ticket financially accounted for will be subtracted from their $225 balance. If a family wishes to pay the $225 without selling the tickets, they can forego selling any tickets and pay the full $225 remaining balance, or alternatively, put a parent name on all 9 of the tickets to be entered into the raffle. If they want to purchase all 9 tickets themselves for $225, please note that the $225 must be received by the end of March in order to be entered into the raffle drawing.
