My motto is, "Learn something new every day," and I aim to create lifelong learners. Fourth grade is a year of maturation for students: Throughout this year, students continue to improve their reading and math skills, but are also increasingly responsible for their learning, behavior, and education.
I agree with the Catholic Church that parents and families are a child's first educators; you are my partners in your child's learning this year.
Resources
During the school year, several resources are available to help you stay up-to-date regarding assignments, homework, and due dates. First and foremost is your child's planner, which will be filled in each day during class and should match the one posted here on the Homework page. Please check the planner and sign it each evening.
I email a weekly Friday newsletter, which will also be posted here. Please add my email to your contacts so correspondence does not go into your spam folder.
The FACTS information system (interims and quarterly progress reports) will also be used this year; if you are new to St. Paul, more information will be forthcoming from St. Paul School regarding FACTS.
Lastly, you can also keep informed about what is going on at school by reading the weekly RAM Report, which the school emails parents on Tuesdays.
I encourage you to make use of these information resources to ensure your child is staying on top of his or her academic responsibilities, and so that you are aware of events here at school and at St. Paul parish.

2025-26 Parent/Student Handbook
Please ensure you and your student(s) have thoroughly read the updated 2025-26 Parent/Student Handbook.
There are many updates that you need to be aware.
All students are to have read and discussed with parents the handbook and what is required of them as students here at SPS.
