Hello! My name is Matt McKeon, and I have been teaching at St. Paul since 2024. I was born and raised in Canal Winchester, OH, and graduated from THE Ohio State University in 2023. Shortly after graduation, I deployed with my Marine Corps Reserve unit to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. While in Cuba, I managed to begin working on my education license, and completed it upon returning back to the States. When I'm not in the classroom, you can often find me cheering for my favorite teams, out for a run, or spending time with family and friends.
This year we will have the opportunity to read through and analyze several timeless pieces of literature, while also enhancing our ELA skills along the way. Additionally, our social studies classes will have the opportunity to dive into history ranging from the the assassination of Caesar in 44 B.C. to Columbus discovering the New World in 1492! As a class we will unpack this information all while we explore and learn about our Catholic faith. Lastly, I hope we can all have some fun along the way and have a great school year!
