About me:
Hello! my name is Leah Galbraith. This will be my second year teaching at St. Paul and I couldn't be more excited:) I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in middle childhood mathematics and science. I grew up in Powell, Ohio and moved back after graduating. I have a dog named Willy, he's 5 years old and is a maltipoo. I have a passion for math and science but outside of school I like to spend time outdoors or with family/friends.
Teaching philosophy:
I believe kids deserve an excited adult, they need someone who’s ready to explore and laugh with them all day, someone who’s looking for those magical moments. They want us and need us to come to school everyday, ready to surround them with love, encouragement, and hope.
Not only is school a place where kids can flourish academically but it's a place to learn life skills they will carry much longer. My classroom is a safe space for all students and with that I can maximize learning for all my students. I want to spread my passion and love for learning to all my students.
