Ms. Pohly

Hello!  My name is Kelly Pohly. I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Soon after, I earned my master's degree in Special Education from the University of Cincinnati. This is my 9th year of teaching and my 5th year at St. Paul School. St. Paul is my home parish, and I am thrilled to be here with my own kids. 

I am a proud alumna of St. Matthias and St. Francis DeSales High School!  In my free time I love being with my friends and family, reading, doing crafts, and lounging with a warm cup of coffee and a comfy blanket. 

I am so happy you are here, and I welcome you to St. Paul’s first grade! It is always my goal to provide a safe, consistent, creative, Christ-centered, and differentiated learning environment where my students can continue to evolve as lifelong learners. Each child is unique, and I believe in highlighting the individual strengths and abilities of our students to help them grow. I want my students to feel welcome, secure, and excited to learn when they enter my classroom.

FUN FACT:  I met my best friend in 1st Grade! We always got mixed up by our teachers because we look so much alike.  Even today strangers always think we are sisters!
