Mrs. Rose

Kindergarten - Room 108

My background:

I believe that St. Paul School stands out as a place committed to putting God's love in action.  Each week we take an engaging theme (from our content areas) and explore it through reading, writing, math and art.  Having a full time paraprofessional helps me work with small groups and do many creative lessons each day.  Our Technology and STEAM teachers assist me in providing students with tools needed for Problem Based Learning projects.   These projects lay the groundwork for critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity.  I feel very fortunate to be a part of the St. Paul community, and I hope you and your kindergartner will feel the same. I look forward to nurturing your children as we explore God’s world. Below is an introduction of me that is geared toward your child.

Introduction to read to your child:

Hello, my name is Mrs. Rose.

Kindergarten is a great place to be and lots of fun to teach. Some of my favorite things are reading books to the class and writing our own books together. We play at activity centers with all kinds of toys and games. We sing, cook and do lots of art projects. But what I love best about kindergarten is all the hugs I get every day!

I look forward to learning more about you. Here is some information about me: I like to take walks, ride bikes, and do lots of reading and playing with my kids! My favorite hobby is taking pictures and making scrapbooks. My favorite food is tomatoes from the garden. My favorite color is pink. My favorite animals are bears. giraffes and dolphins. I love Christmas time and collect gingerbread man items. You will get to tell me your favorites when school starts!
