Mrs. Cowan

Hello!  My name is Alexa Cowan.  I graduated from THE Ohio State University earning my Masters in Early Childhood Education.  I began teaching Kindergarten at St. Paul in 2013.  I was born and raised in Westerville.  I am a proud alumna of St. Paul and St. Francis DeSales High School, where I met my husband Eli.  We have a son, Eli IV, and a chocolate lab, Nola.  We now reside in New Albany- close to both of our families.  In my free time, I love cheering on the Buckeyes and the Blue Jackets, road trips with my family to New York, Hilton Head and Nashville, singing along to musicals and attending live music concerts.

I want to welcome you and your child to Kindergarten at St. Paul School!  Kindergarten is a time of new beginnings, making new friends and learning many new things each and every day.  Our days and weeks will be filled with many wonderful experiences for learning and growing.  Educating a child is most successful when families and schools work together.  I welcome and encourage your input because after all, you are your child’s first teacher!

In line with our school’s mission statement, I will strive to develop and enhance the spiritual, educational, personal, physical, and social growth of our students.  I promise to work diligently to provide your children with wonderful experiences that help them feel good about themselves and their school.
