Our Mission at the Library
This library is dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of learning by developing strong information literacy skills in students. It strives to inspire a passion for literature and reading, not only for knowledge but also for enjoyment. Through a collaborative and engaging environment, we support both teacher-led and student-driven learning, encouraging curiosity and discovery. Additionally, we provide access to quality information resources in a variety of formats, ensuring that all students have the tools they need to explore, learn, and grow.
Our Goals at the Library
The goal is to help students develop essential literacy skills while making measurable progress in their ability to seek, evaluate, and use information effectively. By introducing them to a diverse range of resources, we aim to support their learning and encourage independent exploration. We also strive to create opportunities for students to engage with literature and information in ways that foster curiosity and self-directed discovery. Furthermore, we work closely with teachers to integrate library media into classroom instruction, ensuring that students benefit from a well-rounded, enriching educational experience.

Hello, I’m Mrs. Conroy and I’m so excited to be your library & computer teacher at St. Paul School!
I’ve been working in libraries since 2008 and love helping students discover great books, develop research skills, and explore the world of information. Whether you’re looking for your next favorite read, need help with a project, or want to learn how to navigate digital resources, I’m here to support you!
A few fun facts about me:
Some of my favorite books as a kid were The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi & The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
I love to be creative and make fun displays and bulletin boards.
When I’m not in the library, you’ll probably find me running programs, watching something on Netflix or cooking something yummy for my family.
Have a question? Stop by the library or email me at sconroy@saintpaulcranston.org. I can’t wait to help you on your reading journey!
