Weekly Update

Hello Riverview families and staff,

Thank you for connecting with your child’s teacher this week and helping your child complete some of the activities on their iPads posted on Seesaw or Schoology!

Spring Break - March 30-April 3

Your child will not have any new activities posted during this time. Distance Learning will begin on April 6. Meal Service During Spring Break

Distance Learning:

• PreK: Learning activities completed at home without an iPad.

• K-3: Learning activities through Seesaw.

• 4th-5th: Learning activities through Schoology.

Learning Time for the first week, K-5:

Morning Activity: Short check in activity to say hello to students and track student attendance.

Math: 30 minutes per day

Literacy: 50-60 minutes per day

*Science, gym, music, social/emotional lessons will be introduced at a slower pace with about 15-30 minutes of learning time per day.

Families First

We understand that families may experience hardships that prevent students from completing assignments. These may include illness, technology issues or other family issues. Please talk to your child’s teacher for support. We are here to help first and foremost.
