Mental Health at Farnsworth 5-8

Supports at Farnsworth

The 2022-23 school year presents new challenges for students and families related to transitioning back to in-person learning after a year of distance learning, the coronavirus pandemic, and ongoing social justice issues in our community.

The middle school years, grades 5-8, are also a time of big emotional and physical changes as students move through puberty, seek to become independent from parents/guardians, and explore their own ideas.

The social work/counseling team at Farnsworth works withs students and families in navigating life and school. We collaborate as a team to provide individual and small group supports to students in all school settings. Please reach out with questions and concerns you may have.

We are also available to navigate and refer to community resources as needed.

Welcome to Ms. Vang, our school-linked mental health provider!

Ms. Vang will be providing mental health services to students during the school day at Farnsworth.

We are here for you:

Please reach out to our mental health team if your student or family needs support!
