Language Arts
Read Accidental Trouble Magnet, and complete the Accidental Trouble Magnet packet and written response.
BEFORE you begin reading Accidental Trouble Magnet (Planet Omar #1) by Zanib Mian, we would like you to take some time learning about Pakistan. Grab a computer and an adult and do your best to answer as many of the questions about Pakistan as you can. Be as thorough as you possibly can because you will be asked to share your answers with your class.
WHILE reading Accidental Trouble Magnet complete the "Omar's Journey" sheet linked to the Language Arts Assignments page.
Re-read your writing out loud to make sure it makes sense.
Review your writing to see if punctuation and capital letters are used correctly.
Read at least one other book from the Grade 4 Summer Reading List.
Read at least two additional books of your choosing.
Fill in the Reading Log for all books read this summer.
Math
Complete all of the required IXL activities (detailed directions on the Math Assignments page)
Record your completed IXL activities on the "My Summer IXL Math Log"
