Multiplication Fact Fluency

As we get into more difficult multiplication, it will be especially important for students to be comfortable with their basic multiplication facts.  This contributes to students' ability to solve more difficult problems quicker and more accurately, helps them to build confidence, and reduces the cognitive load.

Practicing math facts at home, for a few minutes each day or even a few times per week, can greatly contribute to their success.  Take a look at this document for some ideas about how you can work with them at home.
