Get to know Ms. Spellman

Hello Everyone! I am Ms. Spellman, the 5-8 Social Studies and 7-8 Religion Teacher. I grew up in central Iowa as a triplet with 2 brothers, my parents, and dog. I graduated from Iowa State in May of 2014 with my degree in History and a minor in Political Science to get my secondary education degrees for 5-12 All Social Studies along with my K-12 Coaching endorsement. Go Cyclones! My most recent venture has been completing my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration through Drake University. Go Bulldogs!

In my free time I enjoy running, working out, swimming, and spending time with my friends along with my family.

My teaching philosophy is that if you never try, you will never succeed! All I expect is 100% effort! All students and staff are continual learners that help them to develop into lifelong leaders.
