Stoughton Academy offers the academic resources of the Stoughton School System to residents of Stoughton and surrounding communities seeking flexible pathways to achieve their educational goals. Through evening programming, credit recovery, opportunities to earn academic credit, and support toward completion of graduation requirements, the Academy provides an accessible and supportive learning environment that helps students make meaningful progress toward a high school diploma and prepares them for postsecondary education, employment, and lifelong learning.

All tuition and program fees are paid online through SchoolCafé. Full payment is required prior to the start of the first class session. Students with outstanding balances will not be permitted to attend classes. Please refer to the Student Handbook for full definitions regarding In-District and Out-of-District residency and tuition payment requirements.
Tuition Fees:
In-District Students: $275 per course.
Out-of-District Students: $300 per course.
Eligibility Requirements
Age: Open to individuals aged 16 and older.
Residency: Open to residents of Stoughton and surrounding local communities.
Student enrollment is finalized only upon the verification of prerequisite academic records, required tuition payments, and completed registration documentation. Students may take a maximum of 4 night classes per semester, with a limit of up to 2 online courses per semester.
Prerequisites: Official transcripts must be submitted and evaluated prior to class assignment.
Holds: Students with outstanding financial balances or registration documentation will not be permitted to attend evening classes.
Credit Recovery: For students needing to make up failed or missing credits to meet graduation requirements.
Diploma Completion: For adult learners returning to earn a high school diploma.
Skill Advancement: For individuals seeking specific course credits for personal or career advancement.

Stoughton Academy operates on an evening model, featuring live sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays paired with independent, asynchronous coursework to complete weekly requirements. Students take two classes per night, separated by a brief transition break.
