Grading Policy: COVID CHANGE FOR VIRTUAL AND HYBRID LEARNING 20-21
Students will be evaluated on their knowledge and application of the art skills taught in each lesson, their “studio behavior”- how they set up and clean up materials, their effort and craftsmanship, and their self-assessment.
PARTICIPATION/EFFORT 50%
ASSIGNMENTS 50%
Late Assignments:
Any assignment handed in after the due date, will lose 10 points of credit for each week it is late.
Improving a Grade:
If a student is not satisfied with a grade they may rework a project to earn extra points and improve their grade, this must be done before the end of the term…this policy does not apply to Late Assignments.
**Artsy Recycling and Donations:
We artists are always looking to reuse materials in our creations…if you have any yarn, fabric, non-toxic craft paint, buttons, stickers, etc…please drop me an email and I’ll see what we can use!
