Mr. DeFrias' Website

Mr. DeFrias is an Instrumental Music Teacher Grades 4-12 for Stoughton Public Schools. He specializes in Percussion, Saxophone & Clarinet. Mr. DeFrias attended Rhode Island College, where he studied clarinet and music education, along with earning a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. He has 8 years of teaching experience working with band students across a variety of ensembles including, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Percussion Ensembles, & Private Lessons.

During the School Day, you will find Mr. DeFrias teaching saxophone & percussion lessons for 4th & 5th Grade at all Stoughton Elementary Schools. He also teaches the Day A,C,E 6th Grade Band at O'Donnell Middle School, along with co-teaching the other 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade bands.

After School, Mr. DeFrias teaches private lessons for Percussion, Saxophone, & Clarinet. He also teaches the percussion section of the Stoughton High School Marching Black Knights, along with directing the Stoughton High School Winter Percussion Ensemble and O'Donnell Middle School Drum Club.
