Band

with Mrs. Fiske

Hey student musicians,

This website is designed to foster some exploration and enrichment to compliment our traditional, performance-based band class.

Since we can't play together, I thought I'd gather some resources for you to explore. Click some of the tabs on the menu above to find videos of great performances, technique ideas, play along tracks, games and more!

Please send me any music related YouTube videos, activities or sites that you've found that you think should be shared with others.

Above all, your physical, mental and emotional health comes first. Feel free to use this page for musical enrichment once those primary needs are met.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fiske

Mrs. Ann (Dorgan) Fiske has been teaching instrumental music in Stoughton for eight years. She is the district's brass specialist, 7th Grade Band director, Honor Wind Ensemble director and Assistant Marching Band Director.

Mrs. Fiske earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Music Education and her master's degree through the American Band College of Sam Houston State University in Band Conducting. After going through the Stoughton Public School system, she is so excited to be living and working in her hometown, serving the community that helped shape her into the teacher and musician she is today.

Mrs. Fiske loves making music, but also loves cooking, skiing, reading, gardening, and running with her dog, Brynn.
